One Sneaky (but genius) Way To Get More 'Likes' On Your Facebook Post.

It is no secret that Facebook 'ain’t what it used to be… when you post to your brand page, only a fraction of your audience actually see it. Short of paying to ‘boost’ every post, there are limited options to get it in front of more eye-balls.

The majority of advice out there says ‘create awesome content’ and whilst that IS the BEST advice, I know you want a little more.

Facebook’s algorithm is such that the more engagement you get with a post, the more they will show it to more of your audience. So here is one trick to get that initial engagement up.

By embedding the post in one of your blog articles, you get the guaranteed traffic that already comes to your website. By putting it in front of their face, you increase the chance they will click on it and like, share or comment on it. By-passing Facebook’s algorithm. And this is what it looks like in your post:

How to embed a Facebook Post

  1. Find the post you want to embed. Click the drop-down arrow in the top right-hand corner of the post and select ‘embed post’.

  2. Copy and post the HTML.

  3. In your blog editor, find the ‘text’ or ‘html’ editor and paste the HTML. (This will be different depending on the blogging platform you use.)

  4. Publish your post as you normally would.

Et voila! Test it out and see what happens!
