Liquid Sunshine is the full-service, in-house creative marketing agency for Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) and its 125 leading beverage brands, including Dr Pepper, Snapple, Keurig, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, 7UP, Bai, A&W, Core, Canada Dry, and Schweppes. Our mission is to help grow KDP’s iconic and refreshing brands with equally iconic and refreshing creative communications and experiences.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Social Strategy to help lead Liquid Sunshine through an exciting new phase of growth in capabilities, brand assignments, and creative excellence. This is a supervisory role reporting into the Director of Strategy and is based in Los Angeles, CA.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

- Continue to grow our Social Strategy practice, taking conceptual and operational lead on building out our social strategy on brands for today (social) and tomorrow (Web3 and beyond…)

- Champion breakthrough ways to show up in paid and organic social, based on data-driven insights, audience behaviors, cultural trends, competitive landscape, and new platform features

- Demonstrate an innate curiosity for emerging platforms; serve as our in-house expert for establishing partnerships and best practices with new media.

- Collaborate with brand strategy and digital strategy for integrated campaigns and brand launches

- Create smart social media audits and inspiring creative briefs

- Work with creative teams, designers, and producers to develop highly engaging, cutting-edge campaigns and content that get talked about and shared

- Track and evaluate emerging platforms and ad formats, and recommend approaches to improve social media performance and content optimization against changing landscapes

- Provide on-going support and management of social strategists engaging in community management and brand engagement for our Keurig Dr Pepper brand channels

- Team up with social media planners and the data experts to evaluate and report on the performance of our campaigns

- Foster collaborative relationships with internal partners and stakeholders, including Campaign & Content Creative, Design, the brand teams, Media, PR/Influencer team, Data & Analytics

- Be KDP Marketing’s trusted, go-to expert on all things social

- Establish and nurture partnerships with leading and emerging social channels to ensure we’re aware of the latest features, that we’re considered for beta tests and creative “firsts,” and that we’re always pushing the limits of what’s possible on each platform

- Help attract, retain and motivate the best talent to meet current and future needs

- Lead by doing, while providing the team with clear responsibilities, goals, and career development

- Champion and contribute to a culture of diversity, inclusion, personal growth, winning, and fun

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 8 years of experience brand strategy, with a focus in social, in top tier creative organizations, including at least 3 years managing a team of strategists

- A deep understanding and working knowledge of social media platforms, audience behaviors, best practices, and trends

- An ability to turn data and observations into useful insights

- A demonstrated knack for leading and inspiring employees and cross-functional teams

- The ability to foster trusted client relationships built on subject matter expertise, innovative thinking, and executional excellence

- The optimism to think bigger, the curiosity to dig deeper, and the passion to do better

- The gravitas, emotional intelligence, and intellectual firepower to persuade senior stakeholders to embrace innovative, highly engaging, and sometimes risky work

- An entrepreneurial spirit, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills

- Determination, courage, and ingenuity in the face of obstacles, deadlines, ambiguity, and healthy conflict

- An infatuation with beverages, a love of brands, and a lifelong affair with all things creative

- CPG and brand-side experience a plus
