Weโre Tailify
For the last decade, Tailify has been on a mission to radically improve how brands market through influence. We are built on the premise that data only tells you what people do. Psychology and behavioural science tell you why they do it. Our ability to codify the psychological principles behind influence is what enables our AI and our service team to deliver you better influencer selection, messaging and measurement than any other agency or human.
Weโre a team of cutting edge data scientists, marketers and psychologists using our knowledge to create category leaders. We work with top global brands to create, manage and scale influence programmes.
If you care deeply about the future of the influence economy and believe in the scientific approach, then we want to get to know you better.
Strategist (Influencer Marketing)
As a strategist at Tailify, you will have a critical role to play to help Tailify's clients start and scale their influencer programmes. You will work closely with a lead strategist to deliver great work to some of our exciting new and existing clients. To be considered for this role you need to have a strong interest and understanding of the social and influencer space.
How do I know if I am a fit?
You have a deep understanding of the social media and influencer space and want to grow even further in this industry.
You're always one to ask too many questions. More specifically, you have a strong interest in understanding humans, ideally with a background in psychology or social science.
Misaligned images and bad copy keep you up at night. You have experience in presentation design and can package your ideas in banging keynote decks.
You love to work collaboratively (this role is definitely not for lone wolves!) and are a good project manager.
You are a natural storyteller and know how to capture people's attention (using your natural charisma!)
You get excited when you read this article.
More specifically, what would I be expected to do as a strategist at Tailify?
A curious and analytical mindset
You will need to digest extensive research and stay on top of current consumer behaviour and social media trends, to understand what will make consumers engage and change their behaviour.
You have an inherent interest in psychology. You will need to work collaboratively with our in-house research psychologist to uncover key behavioural insights explaining the success of our campaigns.
You know your way around a spreadsheet. You will need to work collaboratively with our insights/data team to pull quantitative insights from large campaign datasets.
Creative thinking
You understand that the best ideas come from insights and will need to carry out extensive research into clients, their products, their competitors and their industry.
You will need to present your research to internal stakeholders in a concise and digestible way.
You will be expected to regularly contribute to creative brainstorms with ideas that stem from your research.
With the help of a lead strategist, you will be expected to build banging client presentations (including copywriting, visuals, content mock-ups and deck narratives).
A strong commercial acumen
You will be expected to regularly join and contribute to client calls by taking notes, asking guiding questions or presenting some of your ideas.
You will ensure all your work is in line with clients and internal briefing documents.
You will give a lot of attention to details and have impeccable writing and design skills to make your ideas sound and look amazing.
You will need to be emotionally intelligent and understand clients better than they understand themselves.
Project management skills
With the help of lead strategists, you will need to coordinate the projects you work on to ensure all deadlines are met (even when the occasional 24h brief lands...)
You will be expected to be extra responsive and keep up with the fast pace of a start-up environment.
You will need to have thorough organisation skills and always keep your (virtual) workplace tidy.
One more thing...
At Tailify, we donโt design campaigns or work in this industry just because we think theyโre cool. We care about understanding humans and what influences them. We have understood that influence moves between humans, which is why our work is rooted in behavioural science. We have understood that it's the only way to truly understand what makes up influence and how to leverage it.
We think the marketing world needs a revolution, and we'd like to invite you to be part of it. Joining the strategy team is the opportunity to help Tailify redefine the advertising landscape.
It is the opportunity to empower a new generation of content creators and reward brands who truly have value to add to this world. It is the opportunity to create marketing that doesnโt disrupt consumerโs lives but helps them become who they aspire to be instead.
It is the opportunity to help us lead and define the influence economy.
