Experiential Marketing Specialist

What Will You Do?

The Experiential Marketing Specialist works directly with the Experiential Marketing Manager to help support the overall direction and strategy of experiential initiatives, supporting event marketing and brand activation execution. The position aims to drive awareness and consideration of the Ashley brand, assisting in the day-to-day project management in support of Live Events, Seasonal Influencer Events, and experiential integrations. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for continuous improvement of all major KPIs to meet department goals. This position works closely with internal stakeholders across multiple disciplines and outside agencies to ensure communications and campaigns are aligned with Ashley standards and the overall marketing objectives. They will support team development, including training of new hires.

  • Assists in the execution of the experiential marketing strategy consisting of Live Events, Seasonal Influencer Events, and experiential integrations.

  • Requires up to 25% domestic travel, extended hours, and occasional weekends for execution of live events.

  • Conducts research to ensure strategy is supported with trends and other industry insights.

  • Partners closely with creative, social media, and media teams to develop and implement marketing strategies, as well as influence their support of brand initiatives.

  • Coordinate’s vendor and partnership relationships, working closely to meet co-op KPIs through custom-curated programs.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners to develop segmented content to drive a more 1-to-1 relationship with existing customers and prospects.

  • Provides overall project management and oversees day-to-day marketing activities consisting of vendor outreach, coordination of creative, fabrication and other event elements.

  • Identifies and drives opportunities to continuously improve marketing and advertising performance, tools, documentation, and processes by analyzing performance and competitive research.

  • Mentor less experienced team members and participate in the on-boarding of new Associates.

  • Demonstrates the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.

What Do You Need?

  • 2 year’s experience in marketing, required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field or equivalent work experience, required.

  • Excellent understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising principles.

  • Flawless execution and excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong project management and presentation skills.

  • Effectively work in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

  • Works well independently, as well as in a team environment.
