About The Role
The Principal Analyst – Social Media serves as BSC’s leading expert in social media strategy, execution and measurement. The position requires a deep understanding of established and emerging social media channels and their application in delivering marketing and business value. The Social Media Analyst will direct all aspects of the BSC Corporate social media strategy. This includes defining the short-term and long term roadmap enabling BSC to become the Medical Device Industry leader in this field. The Social Media Analyst will collaborate with a wide variety of BSC stakeholders including the Business Units, Corporate Communications, Human Resources and the Global Digital Marketing team.
Develops BSC’s Social Media strategic plan and roadmap with the Director of Digital Strategic Planning Services.
Leads BSC’s global social listening and measurement program, converting social media ‘buzz’ into clear and actionable market insights.
Provides strategic consultation o Business Units and Functional stakeholders , including planning, execution and measurement advice for Physician and Patient Social Advocacy.
Provides strategic direction to the Business Units for Key Opinion Leader ‘Influencer Marketing’ in social channels.
Develops the global & regional plans for social media development (partnering with the Global Digital Marketing Manager).
Plans and executes BSC’s HR social media program efforts.
Supports Corporate Communications social media program efforts.
Cleary and effectively communicates the BSC social media vision and strategy to executive management and business stakeholders.
Develops partnerships with social media vendors providing new organization capabilities.
Defines and implements a common language and framework across BSC for social media planning, execution and measurement.
Remains current on BSC’s business, competitors and customers; making proactive recommendations to improve business advantage via social media platforms.
What We're Looking For
7+ years of overall marketing, communications and or digital experience, with 3-5 years driving customer-centric integrated social media plans in a B2C or B2B environment.
Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Marketing.
Candidate must have strong digital marketing acumen and a proven track record of developing and selling impactful marketing communication programs that drive business results.
Thorough understanding of digital platforms, channels (email, SEO, SEM, Social, and advertising including programmatic), user experience and content strategy is preferred.
Candidate must also have extensive experience in developing and implementing digital communications programs driving customers through a decision journey.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building and implementing a new digital plan in medical device, biopharma, healthcare or another regulated field
