Your role will own and guide the ’Contracted Influence’ work pillar. This pillar includes activating across influencers, KOLs/category experts, media partnerships and voices of influence e.g., editors and beyond!


Your vision and hands-on work in local initiatives will help unlock the voices of advocacy and influence that drive conversion of our Dyson brand. The genuine Dyson love of owners and experts.

About the Role

Reporting to the ANZ Advocacy Lead, you will support and execute initiatives within the newly designed ANZ advocacy program. In the long-term, you will help create and manage initiatives that fuel advocacy across all of our owners’ sphere of influence: online, offline and through the connected screen. In the medium-term, this role focuses on driving advocacy through our influencer channel, across digital and social.

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-

  • Evolve and manage Dyson’s existing in-house influencer program. This includes owning the process, budget, selection, briefing to reporting. This will form your most immediate responsibility – balancing the focus of the Contracted Influence pillar with the newer Owner advocacy opportunity

  • Lead new initiatives and testing opportunities in the influencer/ creator space – exploring new channels, new formats, and the introduction of paid media tactics to supercharge influence

  • Create and manage a best-in-class super fan community, leveraging the suite of Dyson experiences and exclusives to reward and activate our greatest owners

  • Work with the Advocacy Lead to implement category-specific advocacy Comms Platforms, leveraging a sphere of channels and touchpoints to drive online engagement, social proof and online recommendation

  • Work with the Advocacy Lead to activate a globally-mind, agile ratings and review programme

  • Ensure regular reporting against the Advocacy Measurement dashboard

  • Share actionable insights from social listening to support Dyson ANZ’s goal to become the most recommended brand

  • Work with the Social Media Manager to champion social media within the market

  • Seek online opportunities to interact with owners and potential owners proactively (issue resolution is manged by the Dyson Customer Care teams)

  • Together with the Advocacy and Owner Insights Analyst to become the oracle of ANZ Advocates’ thoughts and feelings from social listening / consumer insight and determine where Dyson ANZ time is best invested

  • Collaborate with the paid media team to ensure that insights and opportunities transfer seamless between Paid, Owned and earned

About You

You are passionate about digital and always looking to learn the most cutting-edge methodologies in web marketing and in e-commerce. You are comfortable in fluid and entrepreneurial environments, taking stakeholders on ‘change journeys’ and have the ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal and external business partners ideally in a global business structure.

Previous skills and experience:-

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing

  • Experience in digital marketing and/or digital, social and content agencies

  • 4-5 years experience in social/digital/community and campaign management

  • Comprehensive understanding of the social landscape across ANZ

  • Deep understanding of fit-for-platform community engagement practices

  • Deep experience in influencer /creator strategies and management

  • Experience in community management

  • Proven ability to project manage and drive projects from conception through implementation and to analyse post-campaign results

  • Expertise in content creation strategies (proposition, messaging, ToV, pillars etc.) with proven results in implementation

  • Competency using Facebook and Instagram Ads Manager, Web analytics tools specifically Google Analytics

  • Competency using social monitoring platforms specifically Sprinklr
