MEDIA: Female Entrepreneur Awards

"The two things I have learned launching a startup is how important networks are, and that successful people never quit."

Last month, our Co-Founder and

CEO Danielle flew into Melbourne for the Female Entrepreneur Awards. Why? Because she was nominated in the Female Tech Entrepreneur of the Year category!

Established by The League of Extraordinary Women, The Female Entrepreneur Awards had five categories that covered emerging and established entrepreneurship in the private and not-for-profit sectors to celebrate and showcase the achievements of female entrepreneurs in Australia.

The finalists in each category were judged by some of the country's leading female entrepreneurs: jewellery designer Samantha Wills, Boost Juice Bars founder Janine Allis, Fernwood Club's Diana Williams, Jane Owen, CEO of the Foundations for Young Australians, Gen George from Oneshift and Julie Stevanja from activewear retailer Stylerunner.

It was truly a day of inspiration, motivation and determination, with #girlpower vibes pulsing throughout the venue. While Danielle didn't take out the title for the tech category during the long lunch awards ceremony (congratulations Kate McKibbin), she's still a star in our eyes (maybe we're a little bit biassed!).

The other Female Entrepreneur of the Year finalists and winners were:
